The picture shown is of course, not "Stanley", but Irving Roesch, who bought
the store from the previous owners (3 generations, if I remember correctly),
but was sadly murdered there and the store destroyed by
arson. I was a customer of Stanley's as far back as 1955 or so, and briefly
worked for Irving at the store.
